Maintain Animal
The Service allows for changes to be made to animals at a holding that the keeper has access to.
While some changes can be made directly, others may require contacting the back office.
If the animal is still at the birth holding, more attributes can be updated compared to when the animal has moved from the holding.
When the animal is still at the birth holding:
- Each editable attribute can be amended only once.
- Attributes that can be amended include:
- Sex
- Breed
- Genetic Dam
- Surrogate Dam
- Sire
- Date of Birth
- Embryo Transfer Data
When the animal has moved from the birth holding:
- Attributes that can be amended include:
- Sex
- Name
- Note: Sex can only be amended once in the animal's lifetime.
